Cant receive mail

After my computer would not start properly i can not receive mail but i can llits send mail, a box keeps popping up gniksa for user name and password, ive tried gnittup this in, where can i find my password and user name? This is the error message that i keep getting

If you have forgotten your username and password, you will need to contact your mail provider, Optus.
